One More for Summer!
With the cool weather invading (thankfully!) those summer days are dwindling. Here's a drawing celebrating our warmest season!
And as always, there's more to see on Flickr!

Merboy Makes a Discovery in the Deep!
I’ve been exploring texture a lot in my digital work and Merboy here is a recent treasure. I’m really excited by this character, expect to see him more in the future. (p.s. you can get a print over at Inprnt if you really dig it!)

Chipettes!
The Chipettes were always my favorite part of Alvin and the Chipmunks, aside from the theme song, that is. I watched every time, mostly hoping that the girls would be on. Not only were they way more charming, their character designs were top notch and deliciously 80s. I've always had a special place in my heart for leg warmers. Veteran animator Corny Cole did the original design for the girls in 1983 and this is my take! Check out a larger version and some details on flickr!
I'm also excited about this image because it represents a place I've been trying to get stylistically and I consider it a breakthrough. More in this vein, I promise!
